The NI Health Survey 2021/21 was conducted from June 2020 to March 2021 via telephone interview. The findings from 1408 participants showed that drinking prevalence has increased, with 81% of adults reporting that they drank alcohol in comparison to 77% in 2019/20. The frequency of drinking alcohol has also increased during this period with 58% of respondents reporting drinking at least once a week in comparison to 50% in 2019/20.
